Today’s review is on the The Coverplug.
Little Man was never one to stick his fingers in electrical sockets. Mostly because all the electrical outlets were well hidden behind a piece of furniture. When it came to baby proofing our home, we did the out of sight out mind trick. If he can’t see it, he won’t try to play with it. This worked for us very well.
But what if you can’t hide the outlet behind a piece of furniture? That’s where The COVERPLUG comes in. This product is very easy to install also easy to remove. The fun part is that you can even paint it to match your decor. So now you can have peace of mind knowing that your little ones will not be sticking anything in the electrical outlets. Out of sight, out of mind!

Things like this are SO important when you have little ones in the house. You can never be too safe!!
These are great! I have to get some. I have plug covers, but they don’t look nearly as nice as these.
There’s an outlet directly behind my son’s bed. I’ve had to cover it with duct tape to keep him from playing with it. This would be so great in his room!
These are really nice. Usually, plug covers are just these ugly plastic things that you plug into the outlet. Thanks!
Great product – and yes I used a cover plug for my little guy – but I did find a paperclip in one plug after I vacuumed and hadn’t yet put the cover back on – was much more aware after that – Whew!
My 3 year old has Sensory issues and he’s constantly touching things that he shouldn’t. I still worry about outlets and this looks like a great solution!
What a great idea these are, I’ve seen single ones before but never one that covers both – much better! x
These are so important when it comes to baby proofing! We lucked out that our little ones weren’t interested in outlets but I have friends whose children were!
That is a great option instead of the plugs I use for safety when I am not using the outlets. I worry about my kids taking them off and putting things in the holes, I like this idea!
I’ve never seen this type of coverplug. It certainly looks easier to install versus the push in ones.
It’s so important to cover your plugs, especially with little ones running around. What a great product!
Very cool! I’ve had something similar on all our outlets since my oldest was born (almost 12 years ago!) very handy and great to have with little ones!
My young grand babies are over all of the time, these are a must!
I like these a lot! The ones we have gets the kids curious. This one just covers it whole!
This is a really good safety measure! Sometimes it’s just not convenient to put furniture in front of the outlets.
This looks amazing. Any house with kids can use this. You can never be to safe.
I used these for every outlet when my boys were little. They put my mind at ease and I didn’t have to worry about little hands getting into the outlets.
Awesome idea to keep the kids safe, you never know when something may go wrong!
I wish I was in the USA, I would most definitely enter – my middle son was terrifying around plugs, now we have a seven month old we are getting ready to baby proof again.
My son was always curious about electrical sockets. We hid as many as we could, but he was small enough to slip under or behind some of the furniture. We had to use outlet covers! This one looks like a great solution for new parents.
Now that looks like something that I need to get for our house.
Great post. Very good information. Our children are older enough but my daughter just have a little girl so these tips will come in handy.
I love that you can paint these to match your decor…ours look horrible!
These covers are important, especially with kids around… Glad that they look kinda nice too.
That’s a great thing to have in every home for the safety of children most especially. We don’t need to professional to install it.
What a great idea! It’s amazing how many things you have to remember to babyproof your house!
I remember my sister sticking a key in an outlet when we were little! POP! Yes, it was scary, but she was ok. I think it is so important to keep those plugs covered when little ones are around!
My mom always tells this story about how I stuck something in a plug when I was little. I am so glad there are ways to protect outlets now.
Never heard of anything like this, but coverplug sounds good; awesome giveaway!
I was even worried about electrical outlets when I got my kitten & dog. These would be fantastic 🙂
I used something similar for my son when he was a baby. Our walls are cream, I’d probably leave these as is. We have a baby on the way. Grandma time!
I think the safety plugs are great items to have. They had these at the hospital when I went to visit my Mom and they seemed to work wonders.
We had the Cover Plug debate! My husband of course was like ” they will learn not to touch it”, and I was lik e” no we must cover and pad everything!”. We ended up using the Cover Plugs. 😉 The giveaway is awesome, what better way to get baby products than to get them for free?!
This is a good idea with little kids in the house. My daughter stuck a drinking straw in a plug when she was little. Good thing it was a plastic straw….eekkkk.
It looks like a great product to have when you have little ones. I know parents would feel much better knowing those are installed.
We’ve got a lot of new little ones in the family. This is a good product for me to share with them!
These look great for when there is little ones around.
If you have a need for these I can totally see how these would be useful.
For the most part, my kids don’t really play with the electrical outlets. I found that the more I have to mess with the outlet to use it, the more interested in touching it. When I don’t mess with it, they don’t even seem to notice it, even when it’s in plain view.
My toddler wasn’t one to put her hands in electrical sockets either so I never really had to child proof although I did. This is a great idea for new moms on the hunt for something that not only protects but looks great too.
It is so important to protect kids from the plugs. Thank you for the chance to win
That does sound like a really useful product to have with little ones around. We, I must admit, didn’t babyproof too much as most of the outlets are covered by furniture.
Love this, my daughter has a four month old and will need this. I was just talking to her about covering the outlets.
ahhhhh these would of been the best thing ever about a year ago!!!! Wish I would of known these existed then!!
I gotta say, at first I thought these were going to be pointless. I would hate to have to remove it whenever I wanted to use the outlet, but I can see them being great in a child’s room.
This is such a great idea! Right now I use those standard plug covers that can be put into the outlet but they seem to attract even more attention for my little guy. I like that this cover can be painted over and essentially hidden!
Coverplug is a great idea. I always hated the ones you plug into the plug. They were so hard to pop out.
This looks like a must have for parents with young children! It would be great to tuck into a baby shower gift basket!
That is a wonderful idea. I have a few friends who are expecting. I should toss some of these in their baskets.
These covers look so much better than those little round plastic ones that go in each outlet. Those are so easy for a child to pull out too once they figure out how to get their little finger on the lip of the plastic.
I love the look of these covers. One plate to cover both outlet openings cool.
This is a great idea! I have a 3 year old and need to purchase some of these. Thanks!
I had invested in quite of bit of a outlet covers when I was daughter was younger, yet somehow she always managed to take them off! Needless to say, she definitely always kept me on my toes.
That is definitely a must-have in a home where there are little kids. We had it back home when my son was younger.
We are about to be in baby-proofing mode. I hadn’t heard of these outlet covers before but I think it is just what we need all over our house. Thanks!
