November always feels like the calm before the chaos. We’re standing right between pumpkin season and full-on holiday mode. Every year, I tell myself I’ll slow down and actually enjoy this month. I’m diving into something a little wild and decided to join NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month)! I know, I know, not really fun and relaxing lol. Random fact for you, this will be my first time since 2017 that I’m attempting NaBloPoMo.
Day 1: November Goals + What I’m Focusing on This Month

If you’re not familiar, NaBloPoMo is a creative challenge where bloggers commit to publishing a new post every single day throughout November. Think of it as a fun way to reconnect with your blog, share stories, and push yourself creatively, all while building a little daily habit of writing.
This year, my focus is on consistency and gratitude. It’s a big challenge, especially now that I’m a mom of four, but I’m craving that spark of creativity again. Writing has always helped me feel grounded.
My main goals for November:
-
Stick to a simple writing routine (even if it’s during nap time or late at night).
-
Soak in family moments without rushing.
-
Prepare early for the holidays so December doesn’t sneak up on me.
-
And, maybe most importantly, find small reasons to be thankful every day.

If you’ve been wanting to restart your creative side, join me this month! Even if it’s journaling, snapping one photo a day, or writing a gratitude list, it counts. November is for slowing down, reflecting, and creating space for joy.
I’d love for you to follow along this month, read, comment, and share your thoughts.
