Last week slipped by in the middle of a very full season, but today felt important to pause and share. Today, we celebrated my son’s first birthday. A simple, beautiful day spent with close family. Exactly what my heart needed.
First Birthday Reflection

It was also a bittersweet day. Today is Grandma’s birthday, and the anniversary of the day we lost her. Joy and grief sat side by side, reminding me that both are part of this life.
One year ago, I gave birth to my sweet rainbow baby. A year of healing, answered prayers, and learning to welcome joy again. Watching him grow has been a daily reminder that love always finds its way back.
Today, I’m choosing gratitude. For life, for family, for memories that still carry love, and for the grace to hold it all. I’m editing the photos I took today and will be sharing a few this week, along with some fun DIYs that I did for my son’s first birthday party.
