Who doesn’t like getting all dolled up every once in a while? Mia Mariu’s Create Your Perfect Canvas is just what you need.
Ever spent countless of hours on YouTube watching those makeup tutorial thinking “dang, that’s a lot of freaking work”? Well, you are not alone. Makeup is not something that I put on every day. Why? Too time-consuming in my opinion. If I have to choose between sleeping or waking up at the crack of dawn to “put my face on,” I will choose sleep thank you very much!
But I’m a girl; I like getting dolled up and playing with makeup. I call it playing because I have no idea what I’m doing. What I liked about the Mía Mariú makeup line is that it was easy (enough) to apply.
Kind of wish I had done a before picture for this post. The after picture will have to do.
I started by prepping my canvas (my face) using the Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer.
I usually never use cream concealer (more of a liquid kind of gal), but the Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer was a nice change. I was able to cover up some of the blemishes (old age I tell ya…). Which made using the Perfecting Finish Mineral Loose Powder Foundation a breeze!

I love Mia Mariu’s makeup selection. They have some great color options and their makeup gives great skin coverage.
That lipstick in that pretty pink shade looks amazing on you. Your skin looks great, I am a HUGE makeup junkie infact I did a hairstylist apprenticeship when I lived in Toronto and I love hair products as well but that’s another story. I think your beautiful and if you can be confident with out make up and use it only to enhance your beauty then that’s what playing with makeup should be about. I on the other hand can’t go with out my eye brows done they are blond and you can’t see my face with out it I’m so pale with out makeup. Foundation can help lighten or darken your complexion or just go on loosely and it looks great on you.
Look how cute you are! I think finding a good concealer can be a challenge sometimes, but yours blended in really nicely!

I have never heard of this brand before but I enjoyed your review. I love using a foundation to even out my skin tone but that’s about as far as I go!

I have never tried this make up before but I did just spring for some new make up. The good stuff is so expensive I think the powder foundation and bronzer set me back a $100 or so bucks but I love it! I am one of those people that is addicted to hair and make up tutorials on youtube. This make up looks great I will have to wait until I build my beauty fund back up.

I watch these videos sometimes that are 20+ minutes long and they have even sped them up and I’m thinking there is no way I would spend that much time on makeup. Im a minimal kinda girl.

Mia Mariu has some of the best makeup. I love how a little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time too! I just used up the last of my favorite blush I bought from them 2 years ago, so I definitely need to get more soon!

Primer is a wonderful thing to use. It really does help prepare your skin for applying makeup. Makeup last so much longer.

I prefer liquid because it blends into my skin more easily. But I do like creams as well.

I usually use liquid, but since I am a few years into my forties, I’ve noticed lately that cream provides better coverage.
I have the same set and I love how much it covers and how lightweight it is.

It’s so tough finding my perfect shade. I’m not too dark but not too light either so makeup either washes me out or make me look like I have a dark tan. I’ve heard of Mia Mariu but have never used it. Looks great on you!
