Happy Sunday, friends! Took a short trip to Montreal this weekend and had such a lovely afternoon at Rosélys, inside the beautiful Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. I was invited to experience their new kids’ afternoon tea menu. I took my daughter and youngest son (since he’s still exclusively breastfed).

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a calm, cozy vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed. Rosélys is elegant but never stuffy; it’s the kind of place where you can enjoy something special and still feel totally comfortable bringing the kids along.

Trying the New Kids’ Afternoon Tea Menu

Rosélys now offers a Tea for Kids option! It’s $35 per child (plus tax and service), and it’s absolutely adorable. The menu includes fun little bites like mini grilled cheese sandwiches, savory cupcakes, colorful macarons, and other sweet treats that are perfect for little hands.

The adult afternoon tea is $59 per person (plus tax and service), and comes with a beautiful selection of both sweet and savory items, all paired with your choice of tea. Everything is presented on a classic three-tier tray, which of course adds to the fun and makes the kids feel like they’re part of something extra special.

A Family Afternoon to Remember

The best part of the day wasn’t just the food, it was watching my daughter experience it all. My daughter loved choosing her tea. She was so surprised they had one named ‘Jasmine’, she, of course, picked that one.

It was such a sweet way to slow down and spend time together. Between the laughter, the little bites, and the endless “this one’s my favorite!” moments, it felt like the perfect reminder to pause and enjoy these small but meaningful family moments.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot to enjoy afternoon tea in Montreal, Rosélys is a must. The team put a lot of thought into creating a menu that’s fun for kids and still feels like a special treat for parents.
